Casio have been around for quite a while now. From its beginning in Apr 1946 by Tadao Kashio the company has consistently created impressive products. Releasing their first observe in 1974, Casio joined the hand watch market at once when the observe market had just found technological innovation. This alone shouts to me that from the beginning Casio are no delayed or early adopters, they are founders.
